Well... I'm officially heading home for Thanksgiving Break. Leaving in about an hour or so. Huzzah.

Couple of pieces of news, in no particular order:

* My cousin had her second baby on Saturday -- so I'm an aunt for the second time. Her name is Mercedes Marie. *squee* Hopefully going to see her tonight and I'm SOOO excited.

* Longer piece of news. Many of you know how often I bitch about Dialup at home. This will be the LAST vacation you hear of me bitch about dialup. After the 30th, we will have DSL at home. Because of mom's new job she starts next year as head costumer at the Playhouse, she can't do all the research she needs to at home as dialup is too slow. So dad finally gave in and is getting us DSL. I'm SO FUCKING HAPPY.

* Oltman liked my program notes. Even if Strasser is an ass and made me feel like an incompetent piece of shit during the process. Oltman liked them and changed NOTHING when Alex says he always changes stuff in his. This made me feel good. *dances merrily*

* New RPG. darktwistngpath. I was going to post the huge long thing yesterday, but as I was at the con for approximately 10 hours yesterday... I was a mite bit exhausted yesterday. I'm playing Hermione. So check the game out and apply if games are your sort of thing. It's going to be fun. XD

From what I remember of Oltman, the biggest compliment I ever heard him say was to Meli: "For someone who has never had private lessons, it's remarkable you have the talent you do."
(I had the horror pleasure of being under his care for the BW music clinic back in June 98).
