The apparition of these faces in the crowd

Well, the computer problems aren't getting any better. That's right... I'm back on the downstairs computer AGAIN. Why? Because my bloody laptop has to go in for servicing AGAIN. The burner isn't working properly this time. So it goes back.

AGAIN.

Asswipes.

But on the plus side, I'm getting a new laptop. Not a Vaio, but, like the title says.. "dude, I'm getting a Dell".

It's a $2400 system that, after all of dad's rebates and deals through his company, I'm getting for around $1500. That's with a 2 year, accident warranty too. So really, the system's costing me about... oh, $1400 or so. For a Pentium M, 1.6 gHz processor, 17" widescreen display (UXGA with TrueLife), 60GB Hard Drive, 516 MB of RAM, CD/DVD +/- burner, 256 MB GeForce 3800 graphics card and Windows XP pro. There's some other stuff on there, but that's the major stuff. (I added a floppy drive because I'm anal like that) So some of the stuff, like the DVD burner and the graphics card is what pushed the price up... but as I'm on my 2nd computer in 5 years... I figured I could splurge.

Don't know when it will be here, so I'm still stuch downstairs for the time being. That means the FQF stuff will be delayed for a little bit while I punt and get things straightened out.
