A good night
Jul. 26th, 2008 12:29 amTHIS would be my new phone. The LG Dare (aka, Verizon's version of the iPhone). I absolutely love it. The touch screen does have a learning curve and it would be extremely nice if Erie actually had the nice EVDO towers, but we don't. However, we're supposed to be getting Rev-A soon, but who knows when that'll end up being.
But my phone is cute and I am a happy Lia.
I am also a happy Lia because I... have a date. Yes, a date.
The guy we talk to up at Verizon is an old friend of ours and we know him from the days when he worked at Circuit City (aka, I've known him since I was 17 or 18). I've also known that he's fancied me since then. He, tonight, after asking my parents permission, asked me out to dinner. Don't know when we're going yet, but I was asked out.
THe thing is... he's 38. I'm 24.
The shocker!? My parents have NO issue with this. For as protective as they are? There is -NO- issue with them about the age gap. I was utterly shocked.
It's... been a good night.
