So I have some really awesome news. I am going to be back in class starting January 8th (for Spring Semester).
And it's my first class for Law School. No, haven't gotten in or anything. One of the local colleges offers a Pre-Law program. AND I can take classes as a non-degree student and beef up my music degrees so I'm not a total musician n00b trying to make it into Law School.
Here's the class I'm taking (on Monday nights):
Legal Analysis and Persuasion
Legal analysis and persuasion will introduce the student to the fundamentals of legal thinking, including the critical examination of case law, statutory law and other written materials. Applying this legal analysis, students will learn to persuade a targeted audience in both written and oral forms. Classroom exercises include briefs, mock appellate arguments and/or mock trial.
Can we say this ROCKS?
Taught by a Judge, and one of the two I know who have been saying I should go into Law School.
I'm absofreakinglutely excited about this. And it's the most motivated to do ANYTHING in... the past I don't know how long.
