Oye. Easter wasn't, to the best of my knowledge a party holiday. But my god -- I don't think both sides of the family have ever "partied" so much. Even at Christmas. It was SO surreal. My mom's brother? Usually we leave their house around 9pm after a bit of coffee. Last night? I swear we didn't get into our driveway until 12:30 ish. (and after too much Bailey's in Lia's coffee... *whistles*)

So the parentals are taking back to school. Scary thing? It's the last time EVER. After this, next time I come home -- it's for good.

This graduation thing is really getting close. And actually? Fairly. Scary.

Ooh... Bailey's :)

They were giving out free samples of the new flavored Bailey's in Gatwick while we were waiting for our flight back to the states, and I must say that the new "mint" variety is too good to be legal. Yum yum yum.

Oooh. That just sounds absolutely divine. *g*

(and yes, I still need to bug you about how your trip was. Have I mentioned I hate end of semester yet?)

I think that, to celebrate the death rebirth/ressurection of Jesus, people have decided that it's just as much of a holiday as, say, Christmas is.

Which means presents, candies of the secular variety, and lots of alcohol. Because God, you know, got drunk himself (Himself?) before Easter and the rest of us are just a few days behind him (Him?).

It has become as much of a holiday. Plain and simple.

But mmm chocolate.

Make the most of your graduation! I didn't, and now wish I had. For me it was sort of finish-the-last-thing lokk-up and be-surprised. Plan the party and what you want for gifts now because there won't be time later!

Also, WOO-HOO! Yay for Easter parties!

I'm not sure how much of a deal I'm making of it. Right now, it's the 'must keep head above water' stage. >

Party like it's 1999. I had strep throat when I 'graduated' so I missed my last chance to go swing dancing as a BW student and I had only minimal amounts of alcohol with Emily.

Oh, and then I came back, and I'm doin' it again, but whatever.

Party.
