Well, I had this all ready to post last night then had the German test o'doom to study for and after my computer decided that it needed to do a critical update and restart, I lost this post.

My computer's been doing a lot of this updating on its own and restarting. I don't know if I should be happy I have a computer this up to date or scared that it's becoming possessed.

ANYWAY, point of the post: welcome to the new people who are here through the friending frenzy. ♥

Bit about me as it's been a while since I've done this.

I'm Lia, 21 year old college student -- senior and on the grad school hunt (hoping to go to NYU next year). I'm a double music major, hence the reason I really have no life and am slowly driving myself insande this year, majoring in Music History and Violin Performance. Yes, I am a music geek, specifically when it comes to Music Theatre. I'm hoping to go to grad school studying Musicology with an emphasis on Musical Theatre. Currently I'm working on my senior thesis, a discussion of Stephen Sondheim and three of his works Company, Sweeney Todd and Sunday in the Park with George and stylistic aspects. Yeah, we can say major geek right there. XD

Music Theatre wise, I've played in over 50 productions of different musicals -- current production being Company at my college. Past faves that I've done would probably be Jekyll & Hyde, Ragtime, Aida, Beauty and the Beast... yeah, I've done some of the biggies. :D I have more soundtracks than I care to admit to (and am also willing to share, all you need to do is ask).

Harry Potter or why I got into LJ. I role-play or in whatever small bit of spare time I have in order to save myself from complete insanity. I write when my muses decide they don't hate me and I read whenever I can. I used to be a die-hard Remus/Sirius shipper *cough* but have since broadened my horizons quite a bit. I like calling myself an "Equal Opportunity Shipper" now. If it's well written, I'll give it a go. :D Yes, things DO squick me as I'm a more vanilla person in general, but I'll try reading anything once.

And that's Lia in a nutshell. Yes, there's other fandoms I'm getting into. Obsessed with Lost. Obsessed with Firefly. Starting to get into House.

Don't worry about your computer. Mine does that all the time. It isn't possessed, it's just smart.

2) True or false: Prescribing the existentialism, all humans desire fulfillment, but achieving fulfillment is a futile struggle. So, should you even bother to go to orchestra anymore if said fulfillment, or Oltman not being an asshole and giving you the props you deserve, is impossible to achieve. Even if you have to go, society is bad and rules are hard, so why bother? Granted, it's all about the struggle and pain, but why go through that if the fulfillment isn't all that fulfilling and anarchy is ideal anyway?

3) Who would win in a fight? Draco Ar-Armach or Sirius Black?
