See, in my mind, there's Republican, and then there's Bush Supporter. Two different things. I am not a fan of the latter.
I can be a fan of the former as long as we agree on certain issues, like the Oxford comma. Or, more importantly, civil rights.
Or, most importantly, that I am not going to hell because I'm a Democrat (and vice versa), and that you are not morally superior because you're a Republican (and vice versa).
