The whole Albus Severus bit was a really great way to show how, after all those years of loathing Snape, Harry truly appreciated and respected all his sacrifices.
And James and Lily? Duh, I'm not surprised there at all. A lot of people get named for grandparents, etc. And in this case its even more, say, expected because of their sacrifice, and the fact that Harry never got to grow up with them.
*shrugs* To each their own, I guess, but I thought it was nice. And it only showed their kids really, nothing on their, or anyone else's life after the war. So you can leave most of it to your imagination.
