I also loved Aberforth, and Dobby, and etc. so forth.
The epilogue was kinda silly, but it made me feel a little better. I think she wrote the epilogue about 7 years ago and didn't feel like revising it. I was also irked with the kids' names. Albus Severus is going to be beat up every day of his elementary school life.
