Wank... of the good and bad kind.

I'm not commenting about the strike or anything about the LJ business. All I'm saying is that LJ is a business and they have to do what they have to do. I'm not going anywhere. I have far too many RL friends on this list to leave here. *waves to the Cleveland!gang* So I'm staying. I'm still posting fic here... I'm not leaving. Too much of my own history is here for me to just pack up and go away. I try to cross-post when I remember to, but this will always be my primary journal.

Others have their opinions on this and are far more eloquent than mine. I'll leave you to them.

Fun Times at the Playhouse Costume Shop

Hehehee. Posting via email as sitting at work with mother.

Richard's in the costume shop today and we just started talking about
Torchwood randomly. Or not so randomly as I managed to find a short
coat to use as a pattern to make Capt Jack's coat... but I digress.

Backstory for those new to the flist... Richard's gay (and has the most
adorable partner EVER and they've been together for about 12 or 13 years)

Me: *pulls up a picture to show Dawn (mom's assistant) the actual
coat* That's the coat
Richard: *looks at the computer* God he's so hot.
Me: Mmmm... Jack/Ianto.
Richard: That's the best part of the show. We love the man-on-man. If
I watch it before Jerry I tell him exactly where the good stuff is.
Me: And omg. The ending of 'To The Last Man'?
Richard: *happy sigh*

I'm verily amused. But then again, Richard and Jerry are the ones I've
discussed HP and LotR slash with... to Jerry's immediate response:
"Legolas/Aragorn. Now that's hot."

*goes back to LSAT studying*
