Getting there... slowly...
Dec. 9th, 2006 06:44 pmWell, yesterday was all sorts of suck. And after Y!M crapped out, I simply gave up last night.
Point by point of yesterday:
I. Alarm didn't go off, missed school.
II. Get a fairly threatening sounding email from my thesis advisor. Threatening in that it goes into why I'm tying his hands with this no revision thing. AND IF it doesn't meet their expectations, I'll either have it graded as a bloody "term" paper OR I'll get a low grade and a mark on my permanent record saying that my work was below expectations and they will pass that along to any grad schools that contact me and I'm forbidden from using the thesis in any entrance stuff FOR Grad school.
III. Y!M wasn't working and Trillian was giving me the proverbial middle finger when it came to online stuff.
Needless to say, yesterday sucked the big one. It just went from bad to worse.
The good? Today I woke up (with my alarm, yaye!) and found a gift from
reddwarfer in my inbox. ♥ thank you, hon. That did brighten up my day. :)
Heading to the Erie Philharmonic concert. My McKinley students are the children's choir that's performing tonight, so I have to go and see my kids. :D Providing Y!M and other various messenger serviced cooperate, I'll be around. :)
