Well things are good here on the homefront. The German paper o'doom (has anyone noticed yet how everything relating to my German class has o'doom attatched to it?) was completed last night and the presentation was given today. A 1-2 minute presentation turned into about... 7. *cough*

This is what happens when a future musicologist takes a topic like... oh, Beethoven. But Frau liked the presentation so I suppose that counts for something, right?

I just wish when she was adding information on that she wasn't directly quoting Immortal Beloved. Yes, I love the movie (and not just because Gaz was in it). HOWEVER. It's not historically accurate. Far from it. And I tried correcting her but at a certain point... I just gave up. But it's frustrating when she's giving the class wrong information. *headdesk*

In other music related news, we have a concert tonight. Still haven't heard if the CD from the LAST concert is down in the library or not. *grumbles* If it is, I'll have MP3s of both concerts up soon. My present to you guys so you can all listen in as I love sharing the orchestra concerts. Tonight should be *cough* rather interesting. Debussy will be good if the strings don't play too farking loudly (yes, I'm a violinist. My section -- and I'm in the back too -- doesn't know the meaning of the word SOFT) and we're playing the Vaughan Williams "A Sea Symphony".

Most proud of the Sea Symphony as it's the first thing I've ever written program notes for. It's... I'm really excited for that.

So wish us luck tonight!

*smooches everyone* and to everyone, happy friday!!
