Just when it can't get any worse...
Jun. 26th, 2005 08:37 pmLife... has been hellish around here. And that's putting it lightly.
I don't know when I'll be back. I know I'm going to be in and out for the next couple of weeks while I finish up Aida. And then it's off to Cleveland for the release of Half Blood Prince. Yes. Won't even LOOK online until I finish the book. I was spoiled over who died last time. That WILL not happen again.
You may or may not catch me. This is the blanket statement of... I'll be here or I may not. Rather than saying here I am and not showing up which I've been feeling really guilty about of late.
I don't really feel like going into all the shit that's been going on around here. Family crap is the worst that can come up and that's all there is to it.
The one good thing that happened today was going to the Reception for Shawn's... thing today. He became a priest in the Episcopal church though I couldn't go to the ceremony because of the show this afternoon. However, we were leaving and David (*grumblemumble*) walks up to me and asks if I'll be around next summer. I ask why and he immediately asks me if I'll be the fiddler in the Playhouse's production of Fiddler on the Roof next summer. And if I am the fiddler, I'll fucking be ON STAGE. I died. David... wanted ME.
*squee*
On the plus side of everything that's happened this week, I think I have the grad school search narrowed down. Washington University in St Louis, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Columbia University, Eastman School of Music, University of Illinois, and University of Michigan. Not a bad number. And almost all are big city schools. Just when you get all your applications for undergrad done and settled in one school, you have to pack up and move. It's just not fair.
