Meme-sheep.
Feb. 22nd, 2005 02:31 pmBecause Lia's a meme-sheep and I'm finally getting around to doing these:
The Pairing Meme:
1. The pairing you first fell in love with: Surprisingly, Harry/Hermione. First fics I wrote over on FictionAlley were Harry/Hermione (including one WIP I don't think I'll ever touch again... unless divine inspiration strikes sometime). It's what got me into fandom somewhat... though it's the next question that really sucked me in, stole my soul... what have you.
2. The pairing you never expected to love as much as you do now: Sirius/Remus. God. I... I have no words. I never really expected to become a slash lover like I am now. And the funny thing... the first fics I read of the two were over on at the RestrictedSection.org. Talk about jumping in head first. I fell in love with them because... they seemed the most real and the most likely (without saying 'omgtheirloveissocanon') to be a truly canon ship. JKR... you're holding out on us.
3. The pairing everyone else loves that you don't: Harry/Draco. Snape/Lupin. Snape/anyone really. Snape's asexual to me. *g*. Really... some of the more popular ships (save Sirius/Remus that is) I just... don't get.
4. The pairing you love that everyone else hates: Don't know if there really is one that I love that everyone else hates... Hrm... perhaps Harry/Hermione, but I really want to stay out of the shipping wars with that one. I'm not saying who Harry's going to end up with as I see both sides to Harry/Hermione and Ron/Hermione. (Hell... let's just make it easy and go trio-smut. XD)
5. The pairing you used to love but don't any longer: I think I'm going to have to gack Froda's answer for this one. (oh wow... there's a big surprise.) I do agree... if it's a pairing I like, I'm not going to toss the baby out with the bathwater. I'm going to keep on liking it, even if I may not read as much fiction or write it anymore. It's still going to be a like, maybe just not an OTP.
And now the other one... which I may or may not regret posting this, but I"m going to do it anyway.
