Torchweek -- Children of Earth (in low def! *eyeroll*)

Well, it starts tonight on BBCAmerica.

And fucking DISH network didn't get the HD feed of it. Bastards.

I had been so looking forward to this week. It had been something I couldn't bloody wait for. The folks were getting sick and tired of me squeeing about it whenever a commercial came on. Now, whenever I see commercials running on all the other networks (as, frankly, I NEVER remember seeing Torchwood get press like this before), all I want to do is throw something at the TV.

I'm still taping it. I want the Inside the Hub special and all the :15 "Inside Look" things that are airing afterwards.

But at the same time, seeing it taping actually is making me sick to my stomach. I'll rewatch it. I want to know how BBCAmerica screws up the running/how much they cut. Though, I'm sure most of us will agree it can't get any more screwed up. TV, while it should excite emotions... shouldn't make you feel like this even 2 weeks later.

I did, however, send in my letter to BBCWales. I've written to a major company before when they pissed me off -- and I got a commercial taken off the air. So, maybe I'll have the same luck again.

I just... I've said it before and I'll say it again: I want my Torchwood back. The overly campy wonderful version that we all fell in love with. I want the first three days of Children of Earth, the drama and the humour. I want to have the old story-telling, watching the team fuck up time and time again, only to figure out how to make things right by the very end -- perhaps a little worse for wear but victorious. I want the overall message of hope that was a constant theme through the series.

And I want to just forget Days 4 and 5 ever existed. In my reality, Ianto and Jack are off somewhere sipping Mai Tais and shagging like rabbits.

Part two of 'Kiss Today Goodbye' is in the works. It's about 1/3rd written. ♥

If you'll excuse me, I'll be off watching Kiss Kiss Bang Bang for the thirtieth time in the past 2 weeks.

Not low-def! That sounds terrible.

Ahhh, I watched it. For my own sanity I didn't pay too much attention, but I don't think they cut much out, which is good.

I'm only keeping it on to boost ratings. I'm debating actually watching it because I don't think I can do that to myself again. :[

And you're not the only one who's still sad. It's been two weeks? Oh god. Anytime I see the name "Jones" anywhere I start tearing up. TV IS NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THAT.

P.S. Hilarious, we used the same emotion with the same moodtheme for our BBC America CoE post!

Sorry that I posted and then deleted. I don't post my opinions on public entries, that's all :)

Aww. *hugs* I don't even have BBC America, so... :P I need to watch it in much higher definition than those that I grabbed as soon as someone had uploaded it two weeks ago. I was just too darn impatient. ^_^
