*gulp*

Well... tonight is the long awaited Composer/Lyricist concert at the theatre. I'm both really excited for it and scared out of my gourd. It's the first time ever I've sung on stage (not counting the little bit in Stand By Your Man last year.) And on top of that -- I have a solo. I'm singing "There's a Fine, Fine Line" from Avenue Q if you're interested. Plus a ton of other group numbers too.

Excited... and scared to death. Tomorrow will be easier (as it's just a two night thing). And it's funny -- I'm so used to performing and usually playing whole shows by my lonesome and even miked! But this... this is a totally new ordeal. I have choreography to do and harmonies to sing.

Wish me luck! I'm hoping there will be a recording done -- and if not, I'm making one of the folks tape it on the cell phone tomorrow.

Concert's at 7:30. Good luck vibes are certainly appreciated!

ETA: and my boss at the music store is a fucking idiot. He just called asking where I was. When I TOLD him I couldn't work tonight because I had a fucking show. It's on the calendar. I told him this weeks ago. *headdesk* idiot.
