I've only seen through... the first three seasons I believe. Not because I stopped watching it, but because I haven't stolen the last few seasons from my cousin to watch. I used the fade to black only as I knew it was something that happened to end a series.
I don't know -- there's something about the ambiguious ending that I LIKE. I know it'll never happen, but still. It gives me room to move should I want it.
Yes, exactly like HDM (which rocked, omg). It let you decide what happened. Yes, I wanted more -- but I still liked the ending.
Very true in regards to Sailor Moon. (oooh. you bring up my first fandom. Oh the memories over at ASMR. XD) And we will continue to re-write what we like of the series. Really, things set in the school rather than a post-war atmosphere tend to be more interesting anyway.
Agreed on why you're scared for Saturday. It's hard to imagine there won't be any more hype and waiting for a book. The films, yes, but even in a couple of years that'll come to an end too. Woe. :(
