*cringes* Hand injuries are the worst, in my book.
My left index finger is scarred up and about a quarter again wider than it should be, partially double-jointed... it got smushed when I was a kid. DX And the scar is supersensitive, which means I can't stand to have anyone touch it or anything except perhaps the side of my middle finger which doesn't really touch it directly anyway.
And I never lay it flat on things because the knuckle (first one away from the hand itself) on the bottom is very very very close to the skin and feels weird.
Uh. Oh, and I once slit the tip of that same goddamn finger open with an x-acto knife. x_x
