A thought for your day, sent to me by a very good friend of mine:

Today for lunch I had a hamburger and a glass of milk. While I was eating I thought to myself "What if the milk I'm drinking came from the cow I'm eating?"

Unlikely. Most cattle killed for their meat are steers, ie castrated males. The females are kept alive to produce milk and baby cattle for as long as possible. So the gender of your food and your drink are unlikely to match.
