Deep Thoughts...?
A thought for your day, sent to me by a very good friend of mine:
Today for lunch I had a hamburger and a glass of milk. While I was eating I thought to myself "What if the milk I'm drinking came from the cow I'm eating?"

At my college this weekend Morgan Spurlock (the director of Supersize Me) gave a talk, and he told us that a McDonald's hamburger can have parts of as much as 1,000 cows in it. ONE THOUSAND. I'm sure the number is better for your average non-McDonald's hamburger, perhaps you know maybe just one cow, imagine that, but eeeeeeh it gave me the heebie-jeebies. So there's something to think about next time you're having that hamburger and milk.

I suddenly lost all desire to eat at McDonald's...
I also remember a "fake" news article this same friend sent me once. (as he loves making up and sending me these things.)
"McDonalds is set to open a chain of restaraunts in India. When asked if this would bother the population there as the cow is sacred to the people, the corporation responded, 'no... they're not made with beef anyway.'"
